Murdoch upset over BBC Power

Daddy’s boy, James Murdoch, giving a lecture at the Edinburgh Television Festival has complained over the Dominence of what he called state funded television in the form of the BBC and Channel 4. “The expansion of state-sponsored journalism is a threat to the plurality and independence of news provision,” he says.

This from the company who feel they should be able to control voters by telling them how to vote in their Red Top publications and who encourage courtship from politicians.

Well, personally, I would rather the “dominant” BBC any day than Sky TV. And I certainly have no interest in the Murdochs family having any say what-so-ever in how our country or indeed our media is run.
