Proof – people are stupid!

A parent has taken the Department of Education to the high court to stop Al Gore’s film on Climate Change being shown to pupils. How unbelievably idiotic. Thankfully, though the judge critisised Gore on some of his assertions (the Judge is a climatologist now?) he did let the film through. A moment of sense.

Now, Gore and the UN’s IPCC (backed by 2000 scientists) have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. The Committee recognised the connection between tackling climate change and securing peace round the world.

Unfortunately, on the BBC Have Your Say Site , most people seemed unable to get their heads round the issue. Proof indeed.
