Round we go again

Election fever is in the air – okay, bit of a way off yet, but it is there all the same. The Tory faithful feel that with this budget they have it in the bag, I mean, there is NO WAY, that Alistair Darling has got it right, is there? Who knows – but that is not the point. Who Cares? Now that is the point exactly. Nick Robinson, he of the BBC who is being accused of being biased at the moment, again, has branded the recent British “Budget” as being Historic and very important!

Historic? Perhaps. Important? Yeah, it will have some effect. Marginal for most people, I suspect, as it always is with this sort of thing.

But most of the population did NOT watch the budget, will only get the views of the pathetically bias British press, from one direction or another, and will generally just get on with their lives.

The blogs will be full of waffle from the government haters or lovers – they wont know what they are talking about, as usual. I have realised that the people who really know about such things don’t actually post on blogs. Which is a pain for someone like me who feels it is impossible to get a truly honest, well educated view without it being nailed on a curve ball thrown by someone with a serious hidden agenda.

All I know is that I, along with 90% of the country, will carry on, either winning or losing with our lives, and then pop out of the cupboard next election to vote in another lot of losers.

And the merry-go-round will spin and spin and spin ….
